Using the Entity Profile, Admins can update a user's role within a covered entity to ensure they have the appropriate level of access in 340B ESP. Here, Admins can also remove a user’s access to a covered entity when access is no longer required.
Before You Begin
The covered entity must be registered in 340B ESP.
You must have Admin permissions.
Editing User Permissions in 340B ESP
Use the Users tab in the Entity Profile to update a user's role within the selected covered entity.
Navigate to the Entity Profile.
Select the Users tab.
Locate the user whose permissions you want to update.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Actions column.
Select the user's new role.
Click Save to save your changes.
The user's permissions will be updated immediately for the selected covered entity and only the selected covered entity.
Note: User roles are assigned at the covered entity level. Updating a user's role only affects their access to the currently selected covered entity and does not impact their permissions for any other covered entities they may have access to. To learn more about available user roles and permissions, see Roles and Permissions Overview.
