Covered entities can confirm their in-house pharmacy status directly from their 340B ESP account through 340B ESP’s Pharmacy Certification. All covered entities are required to complete the Pharmacy Certification to maintain access to manufacturer pricing offers; failure to complete certification may impact access to 340B pricing arrangements.
Complete the Pharmacy Certification
Use the Certification Summary to verify your covered entity's in-house pharmacy dispensing status and provide any required supporting documentation.
Navigate to the 340B ESP Home module.
Locate the Submit the Certification from the Action Required notification in the right-side panel and click Start.
Review the certification overview and click Get Started.
Select the covered entity you want to certify from the left navigation panel.
Indicate whether the covered entity has in-house dispensing capabilities by selecting Yes or No.
Yes: If documentation is required, you may be required to add more information. Click Start to begin providing supporting documentation.
No: If no additional information is required, review the certification, sign your name, and click Submit.
If required, click Attach and select the required documentation from your device and click Upload to save the documentation.
If multiple pharmacies are listed, repeat the upload process for each pharmacy. You must provide all required documentation before continuing.
Once all required documentation has been uploaded, click Continue.
Sign your name and click Submit.
Note: Attached files are not saved until you click Upload.
After submission, the certification status updates to Submitted, and a confirmation email is sent to the email address associated with your account. Although you do not need to complete certifications for all covered entities during the same session, to do so simply click Next Covered Entity and repeat the process.
If you choose to return later to complete additional certifications, you can see all covered entities in the left navigation panel along with their current certification status, allowing you to track progress and identify any remaining certifications. Covered entities marked Certification Submitted have successfully completed the certification process and require no further action, while covered entities listed as Not Submitted still require certification to be completed.
